For technical assistance providers, extension staff, and anyone else who works with farmers, ranchers, and forest landowners to promote agroforestry in the PNW.
The overarching goal of the Pacific Northwest Agroforestry Workshops is to strengthen access to resources and advance the adoption of agroforestry practices in the region by (1) promoting innovation and knowledge-sharing within a diverse audience of service providers and agroforestry practitioners, and (2) extending the network of natural resource professionals who can support the use of agroforestry practices by landowners and producers.
Workshop participants will hear introductory presentations on a range of region-specific agroforestry topics, including: silvopasture, forest farming, riparian buffers, pollinators and agroforestry systems, windbreaks, and climate change. The virtual program includes a virtual field tour and discussion about future agroforestry opportunities and training needs.
There is no cost to attend this virtual workshop.
